Introduction

At Smoky Grotto, we offer collectible smoking pipes and curated pipe accessories for enthusiasts in Australia. To make sure you have a clear understanding of our shipping procedures, this policy outlines shipping destinations, transport costs, and delivery timeframes. All orders are processed and shipped according to the parameters detailed below to provide a consistent service experience.

Shipping Destinations & Address Limitations

We offer delivery to locations throughout Australia nationwide. We focus on providing coverage across the country. Please note that we do not ship to Australian external territories, including Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, and Norfolk Island.

Due to transport carrier constraints and signature verification requirements, we are currently unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or Parcel Lockers. We require a physical street address for delivery. We are actively working with our logistics partners to find viable solutions to support delivery to P.O. Boxes and Parcel Lockers in the future. Customers residing in remote areas of Western Australia (WA), Northern Territory (NT), and Tasmania (TAS) should note that delivery may require additional travel time.

Shipping Rates & Costs

We provide transparent shipping fees for all orders within Australia:

• Orders of 85 AUD and over: Free shipping is applied automatically at checkout.
• Orders under 85 AUD: A flat shipping fee of 10.00 AUD will be added to your total at checkout.

All costs are displayed clearly in Australian Dollars (AUD) before you finalize your transaction. Orders are shipped via Australia Post, Sendle, or Toll to ensure reliable delivery.

Order Processing & Delivery Timelines

Delivery timeframes are calculated by adding order processing time and transit time:

Order Processing Time + Transit Time = Total Estimated Delivery

• Order Processing Time: All orders are prepared for shipment within 1-3 days. This period includes address verification, order confirmation, and item compilation. Our daily order cutoff time is 3:00 PM EST. Orders placed after this time will be processed on the following days.
• Transit Time: Once your order has been shipped, transit time is estimated at 3-8 days for standard delivery.
• Total Estimated Delivery: The overall time from checkout to arrival at your address is 4-11 days.

Please note that these timeframes are estimates and do not account for external delays such as severe weather, public holidays, or carrier transit bottlenecks.

Order Tracking & Split Shipments

Once your package is handed over to the transport carrier, a tracking number will be sent to the email address associated with your purchase:

• Tracking Activation: Tracking information typically requires 24-48 hours to activate in the carrier’s system. Please allow this period to elapse before checking your package status.
• Split Shipments: Depending on the combination of items in your order, they may be sent in separate packages to avoid delivery delays. If your order is split, you will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment. No additional shipping fees are charged for split shipments.

Address Accuracy & Missing Packages

• Address Errors: We are not responsible for delivery failures, losses, or delays resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
• Missing Packages: If your tracking number shows your package has been delivered to your address but you have not received it, you must contact the transport carrier directly to open an inquiry. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after they are recorded as delivered by the carrier.

Damaged in Transit

If your items are damaged during transit, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by writing to Info@smokygrotto.com:

• Required Documentation: Please include your order number, clear photos of the damaged items, and photos of the external packaging.
• Resolution: Once we verify the damage, we will arrange for a replacement or a refund. We cover all return shipping costs for items confirmed to be damaged in transit.
